Job Description

The Business Development Executive at Cornerstone Energy Ghana Limited plays a key role in driving business growth and expanding the company's market presence. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and fostering long-term relationships with clients across diverse industries.

Location: Abelemkpe, Accra, Ghana


Responsibilities:

1. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the oil and gas industry and other related sectors in Ghana.

2. Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs, and identify potential areas for growth.

3. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the company's market share.

4. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.

5. Lead negotiations with clients, including contract discussions, pricing agreements, and service level agreements, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

6. Collaborate with internal teams, including technical, operations, and finance, to develop proposals and deliver innovative solutions to clients.

7. Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to clients and management, highlighting the value proposition of CEGL's offerings.

8. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote brand awareness and generate leads.

9. Keep abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and risks.

10. Monitor and report on business development activities, including pipeline status, sales performance, and market trends.

 Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles within the oil and gas industry or related sectors.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients.

 Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.

 Strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify opportunities, assess risks, and develop effective business strategies.

 Results-oriented mindset with a drive to meet and exceed targets and deliverables.

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.


Required Experience and Qualifications:

 Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in business development or sales roles, preferably in the oil and gas industry or related sectors.

 Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Salary: C1800 - C2000
